A Cowboy With An Axe Burglarizes a Coin Laundry in the Countryside: PSP

Aiexpress – According to a press release from PSP Chambersburg on January 23, an unidentified man broke into Countryside Coin Laundry at 3200 Lincoln Way West in Hamilton Township at 4 a.m. on September 28, 2023.

At 7:03 a.m. that morning, troopers responded to a call at the laundromat and proceeded to examine the security footage.

According to the release, they observed the following in the footage:

“Once inside the business the suspect attempted to break into the ATM and TRT Redemption Kiosk for the Pennsylvania Skill games of chance machines by using an axe and crowbar. Substantial damage was observed on both machines.”

When we asked PSP for further details, including the amount of money stolen and the specific machines involved, it was revealed that no money had actually been taken that morning. The damage caused was the only consequence of the incident.

According to the police release, the suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and a black ski mask. He also had on blue jeans and brown cowboy boots, which were tucked inside the jeans. The suspect was carrying a black and blue backpack, as well as an axe and a crowbar.

PSP Chambersburg is actively searching for the individual responsible for the failed robbery and vandalism at the laundromat.

According to the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, there may be a cash reward for anyone who provides information that leads to his arrest.
