GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (aiexpress) – A man who has been held in the Kent County jail since early November will be transferred to Wisconsin to face a murder charge there.
In a Grand Rapids courtroom this week, 21-year-old Julian Kelly made it clear that he would not contest extradition to Wisconsin to face a charge of reckless homicide.
In March 2023, Kelly became the prime suspect in a fatal shooting incident that took place in Milwaukee.
On November 9, he was apprehended during a police raid on a smoke shop located on Leonard Street NW, just west of Turner Avenue. This operation was part of a larger effort to combat thefts and the illegal sale of marijuana.
