According to the document submitted by attorney Andrea Dyer Hastings, Nathan Wade, the plaintiff, was appointed as a special prosecutor by Ms. Willis on November 1, 2021. The following day, on November 2, 2021, the plaintiff filed for divorce. On November 3, 2021, the defendant, Joycelyn Wade, was served by a process server.
The filing alleges that the plaintiff made a motion to seal the record in the divorce action even before the defendant filed her Answer and Counterclaim.

These records reveal that in May of last year, he spent more than $800 at the Doubletree Napa Valley American Canyon hotel. Additionally, in the previous November, he spent $3,172.20 on Norwegian Cruise Line. During the same period, he also spent $370.88 at the Hyatt Regency Aruba.
Joycelyn has filed her paperwork the day after Willis’ legal team submitted a motion to prevent the Atlanta district attorney from participating in a deposition scheduled for January 23rd in the Wade divorce case.
Willis’ legal team argued for the dismissal of the subpoena on the grounds that she would not be able to provide relevant testimony. They also claimed that the marriage between the Wades was already over in 2017, before Willis met Nathan, alleging that Joycelyn had cheated on him.
According to Hastings, Joycelyn’s alleged full-blown affair with Willis is “false.” He explains that Joycelyn was actually feeling disconnected in her marriage after Nathan Wade’s previous infidelity.
According to Hastings, Joycelyn Wade had the unfortunate experience of reconnecting with an old friend through social media. However, their communication was limited to text messages only. Hastings further argues that there was no physical meeting between the two individuals, and Wade and her husband successfully resolved this issue. This is evident from the fact that Nathan filed for divorce four years later.
According to Hastings, the allegations made by the DA raise concerns about whether Ms. Wills has the same level of intimate knowledge regarding any marital issues involving her other special prosecutors.
