Aiexpress – In July 1988, a teenager named Brenda Kay Green from Alabama was last seen in Tuscaloosa County with a male acquaintance named Wayne Dickey. According to reports, Dickey dropped Brenda off at the home of some friends who lived across from Hosmer’s Grocery. However, when they arrived, nobody was there. Despite this, Dickey left Brenda on the steps, expecting her friends to return soon.
No one has seen or heard from her since then.
In 2002, Brenda’s parents, Larry and Betty Green, were interviewed by The Tuscaloosa News. They expressed their initial optimism and hope for Brenda’s safe return. However, as the years passed without any trace of Brenda, their optimism waned, and they began to consider the possibility that she may no longer be alive.
According to the Charley Project, Brenda is reported to be 5’2″ tall and would be 51 years old in 2024. Her case is currently active in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) under Case Number MP2351.
