Aiexpress – Alabama authorities have recently released information regarding a man who is being sought for questioning in connection with an ongoing felony copper theft in the community, as reported by the Calhoun Journal.
WBRC has also reported on this case, informing Alabamians that the authorities have linked the suspect to numerous cases of damaged HVAC units. Each unit in Etowah County, Alabama, has been targeted by the suspect for stealing copper. A photograph below shows the suspect in action, stealing copper from a church on January 9, 2024.
According to data from The Markets Insider, the price of copper has decreased from $9.34 per kilogram on January 23, 2023, to $8.25 per kilogram on January 23, 2024.
