Donald Trump Told A Richmond Crowd: ‘we Are Going To Make A Big Play For Virginia’

According to WTVR 6 News, former President Donald Trump rallied thousands of supporters on Saturday evening, March 2, 2024, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 North 3rd Street, Richmond, VA 23219, just three days before Super Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Trump encouraged voters to head to the polls with the aim of achieving a red wave in Virginia. Despite being a swing state, Virginia has consistently leaned towards the blue side in recent years.

Trump said:

“We are going to make a big play for Virginia, It’s time for the Commonwealth to finally have a say in getting it done the way you want it.”

Supporters eagerly made their way to downtown Richmond at 7 a.m., determined to secure their attendance at the rally that began at 6 p.m.

Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential candidate, made an appearance in Richmond where she held her rally in a crowded hotel ballroom at The Westin Richmond. The event drew a smaller crowd of several hundred people. Haley’s rally took place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, starting at 12:30 p.m.

“This is a decision between do we want more of the same, or do we want a new direction. More of the same is not just Joe Biden, more of the same is Donald Trump,”

Virginia, along with a few other states, will be hosting its presidential primary on the highly anticipated Super Tuesday.
