Forecasters Predict Wintry Mix Of Sleet, Freezing Rain, And Snow In Northern New Jersey Before Warming Trend

Aiexpress –  According to the National Weather Service, Sunday night, Jan. 21, will be extremely cold, with temperatures in the mid-teens. On Monday, Jan. 22, the weather will be sunny, with clouds gradually increasing throughout the day. The high temperature for Monday will be in the mid-30s.

Monday night is forecasted to remain dry, with temperatures dropping to around 27 degrees. However, a wintry mix is anticipated to make its way on Tuesday, January 23rd. In the morning, areas north of Route 78, including Sussex, Warren, Bergen, and Passaic counties, may experience sleet. The temperature during this time is expected to be in the mid-30s.

According to the NWS, North Jersey may experience rain in the coming days. However, a significant part of the area could also witness snow, freezing rain, and sleet during the night of Tuesday, January 24, until the early morning hours of Wednesday.

According to the NWS, Wednesday’s weather will bring rain, with a high temperature reaching near 42. Moving on to Thursday, Jan. 25, it is expected to be milder with rain and a high in the low-50s.
