HPD: 22-year-old Driver Died In A Crash While Attempting To Turn At A Stop Sign

Aiexpress –  According to authorities, a tragic incident occurred on Thursday at an intersection in southwest Houston, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old woman. The crash involved two vehicles.

The Houston Police Department is currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred at approximately 8 a.m. on Bellaire Boulevard and Waldo Street.

According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), a woman was behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4, traveling along Waldo Street. When she attempted to make a left turn at a stop sign onto Bellaire Boulevard, her vehicle was struck by a blue Mini Cooper.

When paramedics got to the scene of the accident, they said the woman was dead.

According to officers, the driver of the Mini Cooper, who is 18 years old, was questioned and did not exhibit any signs of intoxication. The police stated that both the driver and a passenger were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
