NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AIEXPRESS) – The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) has announced the arrest of Terrance Boyd, a 43-year-old suspect who was on the MNPD Most Wanted list. Boyd was apprehended on Friday, January 19, at a residence in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where he was found to be staying.
The authorities in Illinois took Boyd into custody based on information provided by the MNPD regarding his potential location.
In July of 2022, an investigation revealed that Boyd, a tech at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, allegedly assaulted a 13-year-old female patient. Officials disclosed that Boyd was serving as a sitter in the victim’s room at the time of the incident.
According to the police, Boyd willingly consented to a DNA swab, which was then analyzed at a crime laboratory. The results confirmed that it was a match.
