Damon Lee has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in connection with the death of 25-year-old Darryl King.

Martin Luther King Jr. met a tragic end in April 2021 when he was fatally shot at an apartment complex located near East 60th Terrace and Highland Avenue.

After the deadly shooting, it took six months for Lee to be apprehended, and he was subsequently indicted by a grand jury in the following autumn.
