A Powerball ticket, bought at a convenience store in Holtsville, has been declared the third-place winner in the drawing that took place over the weekend.
A lucky individual from Long Island is likely to be daydreaming about a luxurious vacation or considering upgrading their living room furniture. Why? Because they have just won a staggering $50,000 from a winning New York lottery ticket.
A ticket bought at Waverly Express Mart on Waverly Avenue in Holtsville has been declared the third-place winner in the recent Powerball drawing, as confirmed by officials from the New York State Lottery.
Two more Powerball tickets that secured third place were sold in New York State. One was purchased in Somers, located in Westchester County, while the other was sold in Manhattan.
