NYPD: Bronx man sought for raping a woman in NYC home

Police are searching for a man who raped a 25-year-old female at her home in May 2023, authorities said Wednesday.

According to the NYPD, the suspect pushed his way into the victim’s residence at East 161st Street and Grand Concourse around 7:30 a.m. on May 27.

He then repeatedly hit the girl in the face and forced her to participate in sexual intercourse, according to authorities.

He then escaped with the victim’s phone, according to the police.

Authorities have identified the suspect in the case as 31-year-old Malik Crocker, also known by the nickname “Bread”. A photo of the suspect has been released by the police.

Crocker is described by the police as a 5’10” male with long black dreadlocks.
