The incident occurred on Friday, a mere two minutes after the plane had taken off from Dulles Airport. Despite the challenging conditions, the pilot skillfully maneuvered the aircraft to safety, averting a potential disaster.
According to FlightAware, Southern Airways Express Flight 24 was en route to Lancaster, Pennsylvania when it unexpectedly made a landing on Loudoun County Parkway.
According to the flight tracker platform, the plane left Dulles at 12:45 p.m. and touched down on the roadway at 12:47 p.m.
According to WUSA, as of 1:26 p.m., Virginia State Police have reported no injuries.
