Police Catch Fugitive Wanted For Homicide In Pleasant Valley

Aiexpress – On Thursday, January 11th, Stephanie M. Vance, a 26-year-old resident of Philadelphia, Mississippi, was apprehended by Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies in the town of Pleasant Valley. She was arrested on a homicide warrant issued by the State of Mississippi.

Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the authorities in Mississippi reached out to them, expressing their belief that Vance might be in the Dutchess County area.

After conducting a thorough investigation, the Sheriff’s Office’s Detective Bureau, Patrol Bureau, and Domestic Violence Unit successfully located Vance in the town of Pleasant Valley. Without encountering any issues, Vance was apprehended and taken into custody, as stated by Watterson.

According to Watterson, Vance is currently in custody as a fugitive from justice. He is awaiting extradition proceedings and has been remanded to the Dutchess County Jail.
