Aiexpress – It was reported that the oldest son of Rep. Lauren Boebert has been arrested on several felony charges. He is accused of stealing money using credit and bank cards that were stolen from vehicles in Colorado.

According to court records obtained from the Garfield Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Tyler Jay Boebert was released from jail on Wednesday.

The Rifle Police Department stated that he was arrested around 2:30 p.m. the previous day.

According to the statement, the arrest follows a series of vehicle trespass and property thefts in Rifle.

Tyler Boebert faces a total of four felony charges for criminal possession of ID documents, with multiple victims. Additionally, she is charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony and over 15 misdemeanor offenses.

In a recently released 25-page affidavit supporting the arrest, a detailed account of the string of thefts is provided. The first theft was reported to the police in the early hours of February 20th.

Tyler Boebert was identified by authorities using surveillance footage. The footage showed him wearing a hoodie with the words “Shooters Grill,” a restaurant in Rifle that was once owned by the Republican politician.

About a month ago, Jayson Boebert, the ex-husband of Lauren Boebert, was charged with involvement in a family-related incident that took place at a restaurant in Garfield County.

According to prosecutors, the couple had a heated argument, and Jayson Boebert was uncooperative when the police arrived at the restaurant after receiving a disturbance call.

In addition, there is a separate charge against him for a confrontation with Tyler Boebert that took place on January 9th.

In September, Lauren Boebert made headlines when she was escorted from a musical event. She was accused of vaping, behaving inappropriately with her date, and causing a disturbance.

In a statement to Fox News, Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., said her eldest son has been “though some very difficult, public challenges” and that it “breaks my heart to see my child struggling.”

“I will never give up on him, and I will always be there to support him,” she declared. “Tyler, as an adult and a father, needs to take responsibility for his actions and face the consequences of his poor decisions, just like any other member of society.”

Representing the third district of Colorado, the Republican made the decision last year to seek re-election in the significantly more conservative congressional fourth district.

Rep. Boebert actively supports former President Donald Trump and consistently criticizes President Joe Biden, making unverified claims of corruption.
