Officials have reported that Sarah Hughes was last seen on Friday, Dec. 22, as she left Shady Grove Hospital located in the 9900 block of Medical Center Drive in Rockville.
The Montgomery County Department of Police launched an intense search, but there was no update until Thursday, Dec. 28, when they announced that Hughes had been found dead.
Police have stated that no foul play is suspected in the incident.
The department did not provide any further information.
