Pence and Trump’s relationship has been tumultuous since the 2020 presidential election. Despite briefly running for president in the 2024 cycle, Pence recently stated that he would not endorse his former running mate.

During an interview on “The Story,” Pence made it clear that he will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year.

“I take immense pride in the achievements of our administration. We successfully implemented a conservative agenda that led to a more prosperous and secure America. Additionally, we appointed conservative judges to our courts, contributing to a more peaceful world,” he emphasized. “Moving forward, my focus will be on discussing the future and highlighting the importance of embracing the broad mainstream conservative agenda that has consistently made America strong, prosperous, and free.”

Ohio Republican Bernie Moreno, who recently secured his party’s nomination for the U.S. Senate, echoed similar sentiments in his victory speech. He emphasized the importance of Republicans coming together to support Donald Trump, regardless of their personal reservations about his behavior.

During the event, Moreno expressed his frustration with Republicans who claim to support President Trump’s policies but dislike the man himself. He emphasized that President Trump is a good man and a great American, garnering a reaction from the crowd.

Trump outlines his plans for his initial actions as president during an Ohio rally, while also criticizing Biden’s border policies.

“He wakes up every day, fighting for us and for this country. No other leader in this nation has ever loved this country as much as he does,” he continued.

As the Republican primary for the presidency has effectively turned into a one-man race, supporters of Donald Trump are calling on fellow Republicans to rally behind the former president. Their goal is to secure a GOP victory in the upcoming White House election and to regain control of the U.S. Senate.

Republicans are undoubtedly hoping to put aside their differences in an effort to win, as President Biden’s popularity remains historically low. Additionally, the ongoing issue of immigration across the U.S.-Mexico border continues to break all-time high crossing records, and Americans are being burdened with higher prices due to the impact of crippling inflation.
