Two individuals arrested for illegal weapons possession in Southern New Jersey

The Galloway Township Police made an arrest in the early hours of Tuesday morning, apprehending Ahmed Ismail, 33, from Moorestown, NJ, and Torin Colson, 19, from Millville, NJ. The arrest was made in connection with several offenses related to the possession of illegal weapons.

Around 2:16 AM, a citizen reported a vehicle break-in, which led to the subsequent arrest. The incident was captured on surveillance footage.

The suspects are being charged with various offenses, such as Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition, and Possession of a Defaced Firearm.

Ismail and Colson were taken into custody by the Galloway Township Police Department and were later moved to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where they will remain until their upcoming court appearances.
