Aiexpress – An 18-year-old from California has been charged with murder after reportedly killing another teen with a knife.
Orange County Sheriff’s Department officers arrested Joshua Guadalupe Garcia of Santa Ana on Saturday, according to a news release from the police.
It is said that deputies found a knife on Garcia while they were arresting him, but “further forensic investigations are required to determine if it was the weapon used in the homicide.”
Just after midnight earlier in the day, officers were sent to a neighborhood north of San Clemente State Beach because of reports of a stabbing. The deputies quickly found a male victim and started trying to save his life, but the man died after being rushed to the hospital.
The police say that the man was stabbed in the groin. According to the sheriff’s office, they are still looking into Garcia’s friendship with the male victim and why he attacked him.
