2 dogs saved from blaze in Allentown residence

A fire that occurred in Allentown on Tuesday night is currently under investigation by crews.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., firefighters swiftly arrived at a residence on Greenwood Avenue in response to an emergency call.

Upon arrival, the investigators discovered billowing smoke emanating from both the windows and the roof of the residence.

The fire department successfully rescued two dogs from the blaze, and fortunately, both animals are expected to recover fully.

The fire was brought under control by officials shortly after.
