Daniel and Krista Wilson, the parents of 17-year-old Louise Jean Wilson, who tragically lost her life in a road-rage shooting on December 10th, bravely shared their heartbreaking story during a press conference organized by the Houston Police Department.
Tragedy struck Washington, D.C. near Nationals Park on Thursday morning when a shooting incident claimed the lives of two individuals and left two others wounded.
According to FOX 5, the Metropolitan Police Department has reported that shots were fired at around 11:40 a.m. near the Friendly Food Market on the 300 block of Half Street, at the intersection of O Street. The victims, who are all adults, include one woman and three men.
The shooting occurred just a five-minute walk away from Nationals Park.

During the press conference, the police stated that a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, which had been reported stolen, turned a corner and an individual inside the vehicle began shooting their weapon.
According to an eyewitness, a significant number of shots were fired during the incident.

The police are currently conducting a search for a white 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The SUV is equipped with a sunroof, black rims, and tinted windows. It bears a Maryland license plate with the registration number 2FD0820.

There has been a significant rise in homicides, with a 35% increase reported. As of the current date in 2022, there have been 197 homicides, whereas in 2023, the number has already reached 265.
According to data from the D.C. police, 2023 has witnessed a record number of homicides, surpassing any other year since at least 2003.
