Aiexpress – The Colorado Springs Police Department is currently investigating a distressing shooting. Officers responded to the report on Colony Hills Cir. near South Academy Blvd. at 8:29 p.m. on January 18.
When authorities got on the scene, they found a young girl with a critical gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Investigators think that this incident of gunfire targeting the girl’s home was unique. No information about any potential suspects in the shooting has been disclosed at this time.
