Aiexpress – Alabama recognized National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on January 11, 2024. Days later, on January 16, 2024, Houston County officials got a phone call about an incident involving underage human trafficking at a local motel.
When officials came and began to inspect the area, they discovered a minor and an adult guy. Finally, they determined that Tabasis Walker, 24, of Florida, purposefully recruited the youngster for trafficking in exchange for dollars.
The news release from Houston County authorities concludes by stating:
Walker was charged with one count of Human Trafficking First Degree. He was booked into the Houston Cty. Jail with a $60,000.00 bond.
