Aiexpress – Recently, the weather in Alabama has been quite unpredictable, ranging from tornadoes to snow. On Jan. 9, 2024, an Alabama resident reported a burglary in progress at her home, but instead of receiving assistance, she found herself getting arrested.
The authorities of Houston County have released an official news statement, providing further information about the incident. According to the statement:
Kelley Ginibera, 39, called the 911 center and reported a burglary in progress at her residence. When officers arrived, it was determined there wasn’t a burglary in progress, and Ginibera had reported that to get officers to respond to her residence quicker due to her being scared of the bad weather.
She was arrested in Alabama for making a false report to law enforcement.
