On Monday, December 25, at approximately 7:55 am, the Garland Police received reports of a gunshot wound at the Chandelier Cafe and Lounge located in the 4400 block of West Walnut Street.
Emergency responders, including the Garland Fire Department and Garland Police Department, quickly arrived at the scene to find a man in a parking lot who appeared to have been shot. The injured individual was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Johnny Lewis III, a 24-year-old individual, has been arrested and charged with Murder in connection to the incident as part of the ongoing investigation.
The investigation is still in progress.
