According to a local media report, a man who was involved in a shootout with police in northern Colorado earlier this month was found to be in possession of multiple guns, ammunition, and ballistic vests.
Damian Jackson, a resident of Colorado Springs, was taken into custody in Windsor on January 7th for firing shots at the police outside the AmericInn hotel, as reported by ABC 7 Denver.
According to reports, Jackson engaged in a gun battle with the police officers who responded to the scene. Eventually, the authorities were able to apprehend him in front of hotel staff and guests.
Fortunately, there were no casualties from the shootout.
According to ABC 7, Jackson is currently facing several charges, which include three counts of first-degree attempted murder.
