Colorado Police Arrest Lawayne Mosley, Father Of Elijah Mcclain

Aiexpress – Lawayne Mosley, the father of Elijah McClain, was recently arrested in Colorado and is now being charged with multiple offenses.

Mosley was first approached by state troopers and an Adams County sheriff’s deputy at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday near Interstate 70 and Manila Road on suspicion of driving under the influence. He provided his name and identified himself as McClain’s father. However, when the state troopers tried to arrest him, he resisted and reportedly had a handgun in his car, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

According to Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Troy Kessler, Lawayne Mosley introduced himself as “the father of Elijah McClain.”

According to CSP, a driver was reported by another driver for swerving in and out of the eastbound lanes of I-70. Upon receiving the call, state troopers and the Adams County deputy approached the driver after he exited at a gas station near the town of Bennett. They engaged in a conversation with him to address the situation.

This is what Mosley said when a state trooper asked him to get out of his car. When that happened, he is said to have hit the soldier, hurting one of the troopers’ arms and knees. When the Adams County officer shocked Mosley, he and the trooper were both treated at the scene for their wounds.
