Deputies in Conecuh County are looking for a murder suspect who escaped a car accident on Wednesday

Deputies from the Conecuh County Sheriff’s Office are currently on the lookout for a murder suspect who fled the scene of a car crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Conecuh County Sheriff Randy Brock stated that Fantroy fled from the scene.

Ten-year-old JoeJoe Rankin and his mother’s boyfriend, Jatonio Williams, tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident as they were heading home shortly before midnight last June.

According to WKRG, family members had initially speculated that the incident was a case of home invasion.

Monroeville Police, CCSO deputies, the State Bureau of Investigation, Evergreen Police, and the U.S. Marshals Office have all joined forces in the search.

According to News 5, Brock expressed his doubts about Fantroy’s ease of integration due to his criminal record.

South Forty Restaurant in Repton, Alabama, has made the decision to close its doors early in response to the ongoing manhunt.

CCSO officials are urging residents in the area to remain vigilant and to immediately contact 911 if they notice any unusual individuals or activities near their property.
