South Powers Boulevard is currently experiencing a closure at Zeppelin Road due to a car accident. Emergency crews are diligently working to extract an individual trapped within the vehicle’s wreckage.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) took to social media a little after 5:15 p.m. to inform the public about a collision at the intersection of South Powers Boulevard and Zeppelin Drive/Hancock Expressway. This accident resulted in the closure of all southbound lanes of Powers.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) also shared information about the crash, stating that their crews were on their way to rescue a person who was trapped in the wreckage.
Please avoid the area as the southbound lanes of Powers are currently closed.
