Disabled veterans to receive $6K grants from Stronger Warrior Foundation

The Stronger Warrior Foundation (SWF), a nonprofit organization based in Michigan, is now accepting applications for the Adaptive Warrior Grant. This grant offers up to $6,000.00 to disabled veterans for home and/or auto modifications, regardless of the nature or cause of their disability.

“The Adaptive Warrior program aims to provide assistance to injured Veterans who require modifications for their homes or vehicles. Our primary objective is to make the living situations of Veterans easier, regardless of whether their injuries are service-related or not,” explained Zachary Osaer, Director of Adaptive Warrior. He further added, “This program stands out because it specifically targets individuals who may not be receiving adequate financial support from the VA for these essential modifications.”

According to SWF, the organization will provide support to applicants during the application process. This includes guiding each applicant through the application process, arranging contractors, and coordinating a day of service after the project is completed.
