Aiexpress – Police released photos of a man and woman on Thursday, alleging that they brutally broke into a Staten Island home and attacked a mother, stabbing her in the leg earlier this week.
The home invasion occurred on Monday about 2:34 p.m., when two unknown males forced open the front door of a home near Hygeia Place and Boyd Street in Stapleton Heights, according to police.
Once inside, the suspects began punching the victim, a 23-year-old lady who was inside with her son.
According to the police complaint, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in the leg before stealing her money, mobile phone, social security card, wallet, and EBT card.
The burglars then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was transported to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition.
Police are currently seeking the two suspects.
The male suspect was last seen dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, gray trousers, and a black ski mask.
The female suspect was last seen dressed in a black sweater, sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
