Aiexpress – A significant police investigation is currently underway in the northeast area of Colorado Springs.

In the early hours of Tuesday, at 12:49 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department swiftly reacted to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of the intersection between North Academy Blvd. and Austin Bluffs Pkwy.

The Sand Creek section of the Colorado Springs Police Department said they found one victim who had been shot and would kill them.

Based on what they know so far, police think the incident happened because someone was trying to break into a store. There is no threat to the public, and all the people who were involved in the event have been found.

Because of the investigation, most of the Austin Bluffs shopping center is closed. Two areas are also shut off with crime scene tape.
