The Fort Worth Zoo is thrilled to announce the birth of a charming male lion cub named Moja. Born on October 20, 2023, to proud parents Saba and Jabulani, Moja is already capturing hearts.
Currently receiving care behind the scenes, Moja is in the nursing phase, has started a meat diet, and boasts a healthy weight of 16 lbs. What makes Moja even more special is that he is the first cub born in the zoo’s brand-new “Predators of Asia & Africa” lion exhibit. His grand introduction to the public is eagerly anticipated, pending his strength reaching the optimal level.
Exciting plans are underway as the zoo looks forward to introducing Moja to his father, Jabulani, and another adult female lion, Abagabe, in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates on Moja’s adventures at the Fort Worth Zoo!
