Genesee County man arrested after multiple people stabbed in Steuben County

A man from Genesee County is facing a felony charge following a violent altercation in the Town of Howard in Steuben County. This incident has left two individuals hospitalized with stab wounds.

The New York State Police based in Bath reported that the incident occurred on county Route 56 during the early morning hours of December 10th.

Troopers and deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office swiftly responded to the scene following reports of an altercation. An initial investigation revealed that a group of individuals had been consuming alcohol when the incident occurred.

The State Police reported that three males were injured by knives during the incident, and they were all transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for medical treatment.

23-year-old Ausencio Roblero Lopez of Elba, who was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, has now been charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, according to troopers.

Lopez was arraigned in the Steuben County CAP Court system, according to officials.

According to the police, the two remaining males are currently in stable condition at Strong Memorial.

The authorities are currently investigating the incident, according to troopers.
