North Carolina’s governor is at odds with other governors who are backing Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) in his clash with the federal government regarding border control.

The governor of North Carolina is the lone governor in the Southeast who is not backing Abbott.
The Texas National Guard has seemingly ignored a Supreme Court ruling and has begun setting up razor wire barriers along the border between the United States and Mexico. This action has hindered the federal Border Patrol’s ability to effectively carry out their duties.
Abbott released a statement on Wednesday, defending the actions and asserting that his authority to prevent a state “invasion” takes precedence over federal law.
In his statement on Wednesday, Abbott boldly declares that the federal government has violated the agreement with the states, providing him with a reason to dismiss the Supreme Court and federal law.

I think Abbott is right in stopping them from entering us illegally. Nc gov Cooper doesn’t agree. We as Americans citizens cannot pay for all illegal s to come here. Upon entering us Who feeds them clothes them medical assistance place to stay water etc. Then they apply for Soc service help automatically they get it.
