Hillary Clinton Tells Democrats To Embrace Facts: ‘joe Biden Is Old’

Hillary Clinton dismisses concerns about President Joe Biden’s advanced age, urging Democrats to embrace the truth.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Mornings with Zerlina, hosted by Zerlina Maxwell, Clinton discussed concerns about Biden’s age. She acknowledged that some people are hesitant when it comes to age.

“I think it’s much more about the fact that Americans are kind of skittish about age. You know, we really are a culture that worships young people, youth, and all of the artifacts of being young. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but I would put Joe Biden’s record up against anybody’s. He got a lot done and we’re the better for it,” she said.

Clinton revealed that she has personally received concerns regarding Biden’s age.

“Somebody said the other day to me, Zerlina, ‘well, you know, Joe Biden’s old,’” she said. “I said, ‘you know what? Joe Biden is old.’ Let’s go ahead and accept the reality. Joe Biden is old.”

Clinton emphasized her greater focus on Donald Trump’s public blunders rather than any errors made by Biden.

According to her, Donald Trump’s speeches are filled with nonsensical rants and he often forgets who his actual opponent is in the election. He frequently mentions Barack Obama as his rival, which is not the case. She points out that if there is any concern about a candidate being unaware of current events, it should be directed towards Donald Trump rather than anyone else.

A New York Times/Siena College survey released this month found that a majority of Biden’s 2020 supporters believe he is now too elderly to serve as commander in chief. More than 70% of voters believe he is too old to be effective as president.

Hillary Clinton rejected Biden’s age concerns on Wednesday, saying on X, previously Twitter, that a “few years” make little difference when you’re in your 70s or 80s. The expected Republican Party nominee, Donald Trump, is 77 years old, while Biden is 81.

“When you’re lucky enough to survive into your seventies or eighties, the difference of a few years isn’t that significant. Joe Biden and Donald Trump are essentially the same age. “Let’s use that as a baseline,” the former secretary of state wrote, calling Biden “one of the most effective presidents of our lifetime.”
