On Monday afternoon, the Colorado Springs Police (CSPD) swiftly responded to a crash involving a car and a tree. The incident took place near the intersection of Research Boulevard and Criterion Drive.
According to witnesses, the car was traveling eastbound on Research Boulevard but failed to negotiate the curve and ended up hitting a tree, as reported by the CSPD officers who arrived at the scene.
The investigation is being led by the Major Crash Team, according to CSPD.
