Aiexpress – Jill Biden, the first lady, is set to lead a program pushing women to vote for her husband, President Biden.
The “Women for Biden-Harris” program, which aims to increase female voter turnout, is launching nationwide events in the run-up to the November presidential election.
“Women put Joe in the White House four years ago, and women will do it again,” Jill Biden stated in a statement about the initiative.
The first lady went on to say, “In our communities, women organize, plan, and mobilize. We get it done. That is precisely why we are establishing ‘Women for Biden’ right now; when women organize, we win.”
The program will begin on Friday, which marks the start of Women’s History Month in the United States.
Women were a crucial demographic success for President Biden in 2020, voting for the Democratic ticket by an 11% margin.
“Women for Biden-Harris” hopes to retain the Democratic Party’s popularity among women with a series of events in battleground areas like Wisconsin and Arizona.
Biden campaign manager Julie Chรกvez Rodriguez underlined the importance of women in Biden’s 2020 success in a statement on the new program.
“Americans will face a real choice at the ballot box this November between Joe and Kamala, who will stand up and fight for women and their freedoms each and every day, and Donald Trump, who is looking to take our rights and freedoms away,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
She went on to say, “Republicans have underestimated the power of women time after time, and together, this November, we will make sure that they never make that mistake again.”
Women for Biden-Harris is one of the Biden-Harris campaign’s largest coalitions as the 2020 presidential election approaches.
Harris is also on the “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour, which focuses on abortion laws.
