Minnesota Man Accused of Assisting ISIS

Aiexpress – A Minnesota man is facing charges for allegedly providing and conspiring to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, as revealed in recently unsealed documents.

According to the Justice Department, Harafa Hussein Abdi, 41, has been accused of joining and training with ISIS in Somalia. The department also alleges that he actively encouraged others to join the terrorist group.

Damian Williams, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said that while Abdi was training with ISIS soldiers, he carried weapons and told others to attack the United States.

“Abdi allegedly carried an AK-47, threatened to attack civilians in New York City, and encouraged others to carry out such attacks,” stated Williams.

According to the Justice Department, Abdi posted rap music that supported ISIS and made threats to attack the United States while he was with the ISIS militants.

“Fly through America on our way to shoot New York up” were the words to one of Abdi’s uploads. It seems like they want to close it. There is no way we will go. The Justice Department says, “We’re going to come out and blow up New York.”
