According to the NYPD, a woman was discovered deceased in an apartment in Ocean Hill on Christmas Day.
Law enforcement officials discovered an unconscious and unresponsive 46-year-old woman at 630 Kingsborough 6th Walk shortly before noon.
When the police arrived at the scene, they discovered that the woman had tragically lost her life. Shockingly, she was not alone; there was a child accompanying her.
According to sources, the deceased woman had a 6-year-old daughter who was present at the scene. It was the child who made the distress call to 911, and fortunately, she was unharmed when the police arrived.
The authorities have not released the identity of the deceased woman yet. The medical examiner is currently investigating the cause of her death.
