In Alabama, a teenager was recently sent to the Strickland Youth Center after authorities received a phone call reporting an apartment break-in (WKRG).
According to the news report, it is stated that:
Officers (Mobile Cty.) said they learned that a 12-year-old girl unlawfully entered an apartment, at Pelican Landing Apartments on 860 West Point Plaza Drive, and took packages from the front door, according to an MPD news release.
According to data from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, individuals under the age of 18 were responsible for approximately 12,000 crimes in the United States in 2020.
Currently, the MPD has only released limited information regarding this case, but they have promised to provide more details as soon as they become available.
