Aiexpress – According to financial statements filed on Friday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani reported income for 2023 that was close to the federal poverty level.

The filing took place on Friday afternoon in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

According to a financial affairs statement, Giuliani reported earning $18,480 in gross income from January 1, 2023, until December 21 of that year, which was the day he filed for bankruptcy. It is worth noting that the Department of Health and Human Services stated that the federal poverty level for individuals in the previous year was $14,580.

Former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, in his income report, disclosed that he earned a gross income of $200,000 in 2022. However, in 2021, he reported a negative income of -$55,511. He attributed his income sources from the past three years to Social Security benefits, as well as distributions from his pension and IRA.

Giuliani’s financial details reveal a notable contrast between his assets and liabilities. With assets totaling over $10.6 million, he faces a significant burden of nearly $153 million in liabilities. Additionally, his monthly net income stands at a modest $2,308. This financial snapshot offers insight into Giuliani’s financial standing and the financial challenges he may be grappling with.
