Serious Injuries Sustained by Range Rover Passengers Ejected in I-66 Crash

Three individuals were taken to the hospital, with two of them sustaining life-threatening injuries, following a collision on I-66 in Fairfax County during the early hours of Easter morning, according to authorities.

In Fairfax County, a Toyota Camry traveling westbound lost control and collided with the right jersey wall. Afterward, the vehicle came to a stop in the left travel lane at approximately 3:45 a.m., according to State Police. As a result of the crash, the car lost power and went dark.

In just a matter of moments, a Range Rover found itself in a collision with the Camry as it traveled in the left lane. Despite its efforts, the Range Rover was unable to avoid the impact.

Two individuals in the Range Rover were not using their seat belts, resulting in their expulsion from the vehicle. As a consequence, they were rushed to nearby hospitals to receive treatment for severe injuries that were potentially life-threatening. Meanwhile, the driver and another passenger declined medical assistance at the location.

The driver of the Camry was taken to a nearby hospital. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
