Sunday’s Bills-Dolphins Game Could Be Affected by Terrible Weather Conditions

The Buffalo Bills have a significant game ahead this Sunday night as they head to Miami to face the Dolphins. This match holds immense importance as it is the last regular season game for the NFL and will ultimately determine the winner of the AFC East division.

Each team has a straightforward task: win their respective game and secure the division title, granting them the coveted 2 seed in the AFC. However, if Miami fails to emerge victorious, they will settle for the 6 seed and face the Chiefs in Kansas City.

If the Bills lose, they would have to rely on either the Steelers or Jaguars losing in order to secure a playoff spot. In this scenario, the Bills would be aiming for the 6th or 7th seed. However, if both the Steelers and Jaguars win their respective games and the Bills lose, Buffalo would unfortunately end up as the 8th seed and miss out on the playoffs.

The game won’t be as intense as usual, considering it’s taking place in January and at night. Nevertheless, there is a possibility of unfavorable weather conditions, potentially bringing heavy rainfall.

On Sunday, Miami is expected to experience scattered thunderstorms in the morning, which will become more widespread in the afternoon. As game time approaches, there will be additional rainfall, with the possibility of heavy downpours.

Keep in mind that if there is lightning in the area during pregame warmups or after kickoff, the game will be delayed. This could have an impact on the offense and potentially lead to turnovers, which can ultimately change the outcome of the game.

Miami is currently experiencing a significant issue with injuries.

The team will be without both of their starting edge rushers for the season: Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb. Additionally, they will be missing starting center Connor Williams and starting cornerback Xavien Howard. There is also a possibility that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will not be available. Furthermore, starting running back Raheem Mostert may not be able to play, as he was declared out for the game against the Ravens in week 17.

The Bills offense must capitalize on the injuries and perform well. They cannot afford to have the same lulls they experienced against the Chargers and Patriots.
