Texas Rep, Dan Crenshaw, 39, Claims That The Biden Administration Should Express Gratitude Towards The State Of Texas

Aiexpress – Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) recently commended Texas Governor Greg Abbott and law enforcement officials for their proactive measures in addressing border security. During a news conference, he emphasized that instead of suing Texas for its efforts, the Biden administration should express gratitude to the state for their actions.

“This is a topic that has been under discussion for quite some time,” expressed Crenshaw. “Our governor is a meticulous individual, being a lawyer himself, he has dedicated considerable contemplation to this matter. It is important to note that this is not a political matter, but rather one that revolves around the concept of sovereignty.”

According to the Texas Republican, drug cartels play a significant role along the Southern border. He emphasizes that these cartels have complete control over the entire border and generate billions of dollars each year by facilitating illegal crossings.

“If anyone claims to have operational control of the border, they would be lying, unless they are the drug cartels,” Crenshaw asserted. “The cartels indeed possess operational control and rake in billions of dollars annually by trafficking individuals across the border.”

Crenshaw made the argument that Texas is burdened with the responsibility of fulfilling the federal government’s role in border security, resulting in Texans being taxed twice.

Texans are facing the burden of double taxation as they are required to bear the cost of all border operations, in addition to paying federal taxes. Representative Crenshaw has taken a proactive step to address this issue by introducing a legislation known as the border state reimbursement act, which aims to reimburse the taxes paid by Texans for border-related expenses.

The congressman highlighted the distinctiveness of Texas as a border state, emphasizing that Texas goes above and beyond in allocating resources to address the issue, contrary to the notion that “every state is a border state.”

In his closing statement, he expressed his endorsement of Governor Greg Abbott’s efforts on border security and stood in solidarity with his fellow colleagues in tackling this pressing issue.

“I am pleased to be here with my colleagues to show our support for our governor’s actions,” Crenshaw expressed.

Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw’s remarks resonate with a significant number of Americans, especially those who have genuine concerns about national security and immigration policy.

His call for recognition of Texas’ efforts highlights a larger discussion about the involvement of states in dealing with intricate national issues, as the debate on border security persists.

In light of mounting pressure on the Biden administration to address border issues, Crenshaw’s remarks underscore the significance of bipartisan collaboration and creative problem-solving in safeguarding the nation’s safety and security.
