The trial for the suspect in the fatal hit-and-run of Colorado parole officer Christine Guerin Sandoval has been expedited by the court. Justin Kula, who has been charged with manslaughter, allegedly struck Officer Sandoval while under the belief that he was being robbed. The evidence and testimony presented during the trial have raised concerns about the identification procedures followed by law enforcement at the time of the incident. Kula is currently being held on a $250,000 bond and his arraignment is scheduled for February 23.
