A shooting in southern Colorado is currently being investigated.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a report of a shooting near Wolf Valley Drive, close to Research and Black Forest Road. According to authorities, two individuals were shot while inside their vehicle at Legacy Peak Elementary School. It is important to note that the incident occurred during the school’s winter break.
The police discovered the vehicle on Black Forest Road. Subsequently, the victims were transported to the hospital. Fortunately, both individuals are expected to recover without any major complications.
As of Wednesday morning, no arrests have been made. We will provide updates on this matter as more information becomes available.
