Just before 7:30 Tuesday night, the Kansas City Police received multiple calls reporting a severe car crash in the Home Depot parking lot on East Linwood.
A preliminary investigation determined that a white Ford F150 was speeding through the Home Depot parking lot in a southbound direction.
The Ford vehicle crashed through the fence at the back of the business, careened down the grassy embankment, and ultimately flipped over.
Both the driver and the passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
Both individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital due to the severity of their injuries.

The police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
