Aiexpress – Late Thursday night in Kansas City near 19th and Paseo, a tragic incident occurred as a person lost their life after colliding with a tree.
According to the Kansas City police, a Chevrolet Malibu was observed speeding northbound on Paseo around 11 p.m.
South of 19th Street, the Chevrolet veered off course, mistakenly taking the curve in the roadway. In doing so, it mounted the curb and collided with a short concrete wall. The driver of the Chevrolet proceeded to drive northbound along the sidewalk before colliding with a large tree.
According to KCPD, the driver of the car was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead from their injuries.
