Barbra Streisand Criticizes Trump Once More, Accuses Him Of Believing He’s Exempt From The Law

Aiexpress – Less than 10 months remain until the 2024 Presidential election, and Barbra Streisand is actively using social media to continue her campaign against Donald Trump.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the EGOT winner criticized the “unfit” former President, who had been impeached twice. These comments were made during Trump’s campaign for re-election this year, before the outcome of his E. Jean Carroll defamation case.

In a recent post, Streisand expressed her belief that Trump is not suitable for the Presidency. She stated that he exhibits a disregard for the rule of law and disregards the foundational principles of our Constitution and democracy.

“He never put his holdings into a blind trust, violating the emoluments clause to personally profit from the Presidency,” she emphasized. “Not only did he exorbitantly charge taxpayers to stay at his resorts, but he also encouraged foreign governments to curry favor by doing the same.”

She then questioned, “He had received a staggering amount of 6.8 million dollars from foreign sources, including a Chinese bank. But what exactly were these so-called ‘services’ he provided for the bank?”

Barbra Streisand recently criticized Trump for denying the effects of climate change, encouraging violence among his supporters, and lying about the state of the economy during his Presidency.

The singer and actress has been consistently vocal about her disapproval of Trump ever since he initially ran for office in 2016. In fact, as recently as November 2023, she even expressed her strong discontent by threatening to leave the country if he were to win another term.

“I won’t be able to continue living in this country if he becomes President,” Streisand shared during her appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
